When is the best time to get married in tekapo?
Tekapo is beautiful throughout the year. You may get snow in winter and the Tekapo Lupins are usually in bloom from mid November to very early January. But Tekapo is always worth a visit and it is always breathtaking in so many ways.
Can We Invite Guests To Our Elopement?
Yes. Our packages accommodate groups of up to 20 people.
What Happens If We Need To Change/Cancel Due To Bad Weather?
In cases of severe rain or gale-force winds, we can postpone your session up to 3 hours before your session to another time that works for you. If you can’t make another time, you will receive a full refund, minus your booking fee.
Do You Offer elopements elsewhere in New Zealand?
Yes, we offer elopements in Pukaki, Mt Cook and also Wanaka and Queenstown.
We also have packages for multi-day adventures.
What if the weather prevents a helicopter flight?
If a heli-flight is grounded due to high alpine winds or low cloud cover, we always secure a stunning, accessible ground backup location near the Tekapo lakefront. We also monitor weather windows closely to shift our timeline by a few hours if a clear window opens up.
Can We include a scenic helicopter flight if we choose a ground package?
Yes, every package can be tailored to include a scenic helicopter flight.
